Step 1
IDEA
All our new products start with an idea. This idea can be a product enhancement, a market opportunity, or an innovation. Together with colleagues across the entire organization, we explore how we can improve our product portfolio. After all, together, you know more than just one person!
Collecting ideas
Looking towards the future
Developing a shared vision
Step 2
RESEARCH
To determine if an idea aligns with our brand and whether the industry is ready for it, we want to understand what's happening in the market. We investigate the latest colours, shapes, materials, and trends to shape the idea into a concept. In doing so, we're not afraid to deviate from the norm and do something a little different.
Turning assumptions into insights
Creating initial sketches
Establishing quality standards
Step 3
DESIGN
Now that we have determined which materials, shapes, and colours we want to work with, initial concepts are developed from sketches. Each concept offers a different vision of the final product, allowing us to gain a better understanding of the potential end result. Based on research findings, we select a concept to further refine.
Incorporating initial user goals
Developing concepts
Visualizing the product
Step 4
DEVELOPMENT
From concept to drawing. We create an initial drawing for the production of a prototype. Here, we consider the visual characteristics of the concept while also prioritizing quality standards. User-friendliness for the end-user is paramount. It's in this phase that the new product truly comes to life.

Step 5
PROTOTYPE
The prototype is in, we're going to test! The new product will be thoroughly tested for material quality, robustness, ease of use, and appearance. Where necessary, the drawing will be improved so that we ultimately achieve the best result.
Assembling the prototype
Testing quality requirements
Ensuring the design
Step 6
PRODUCTION DRAWINGS
After approval of the prototype, we investigate how to produce the product on a larger scale in our own factory. Here we take into account optimizing processes and minimizing material usage and manpower.
